Botanical like an overgrown garden on a sun-drenched day—you can almost hear the bees. This amaro starts bright and flowery, shifts into citrus notes, and ends somewhere deep, and bitter; equally satisfying whether enjoyed spritzed or neat.
Summer marigolds tasting of tartly floral oranges are infused alongside venus apricots, cumquat, caramelised blood orange, and oregano. It’s sweetened with local unprocessed honey and bittered with the root of the gentian plant. A skinsy fiano serves as the base wine and the whole thing is aged nine months in old French oak barrels.
